Simon was a terrific man for collaboration: in his perform over many years for the journals in the Roman Society; in operating seminars and publishing jointly edited volumes, not minimum during the composing, with Mary Beard and me, of Religions of Rome (1998), through which we tried to established out a radically different eyesight on the role of
